The North Adams Housing Authority invites sealed bids for Concrete Repairs, Heat Tracer Wiring, and Masonry Painting at Ashland Park, 150 Ashland Street and Spring Park, 45 Spring Street, Greylock Apartments, 50 Angeli Street, and Riverview Apartments, 90 Lincoln Street, North Adams, MA 01247 in accordance with the documents prepared by Roy S. Brown Architects and Robt. W. Hall Engineers.
The project consists of: repair of concrete stoops at Greylock & Riverview, minor concrete repairs at Ashland Park, heat tracer wiring on the roof eaves at Riverview, and exterior masonry repainting at Ashland Park and Spring Park as alternates. The cost estimate, including alternates is $600,000
Bidder selection, procedures and contract awards shall be in conformity with M.G.L. Chapter 149 Section 44A-H. Bids are subject to M.G.L. c.149 §44A-J & to minimum wage rates as required by M.G.L. c.l49 §§26 to 27H inclusive, as well as Federal Davis Bacon wage rates according to wage decision included in bidding documents. The higher of the two wage rates is to be paid.
General bidders must be certified by the Division of Capital Asset Management and Maintenance (DCAMM) in the Prime category of General Construction and must include a current DCAMM “Prime General Contractor” Certificate of Eligibility, and a signed DCAMM “Prime G.C.” Update Statement.
Sub- bidders must be certified by the DCAMM in the categories of “Electrical Sub-bidder”and Painting Sub-bidder and must include a current DCAMM “Sub- Bidder” Certificate of Eligibility, and a signed DCAMM Update Statement.
General bids will be received until Friday, 4/24/26 at 2 pm and publicly posted forthwith.
Electrical and Painting filed sub-bids will be received until Friday 4/17/26 at 2 pm and be publicly posted forthwith.

Bids shall be accompanied by a bid deposit that is not less than 5% of the total bid payable to the North Adams Housing Authority.

Bidders may obtain one full paper bid set from Projectdog for a refundable $100.deposit payable to Projectdog in the form of certified check or money order. The deposit will be refunded to all responsive bidders returning the Contract Documents in good condition within10 days of the bid opening. Otherwise, the deposit will become the property of Projectdog, Inc. Bidders requesting their refundable paper set to be mailed must supply a non-refundable shipping and handling fee of $65. payable to Projectdog.
The job sites will be available for inspection starting at 10:00 am on Wednesday, 4/8/26 at 150 Ashland Street and proceeding to Spring Park, Riverview and Greylock.
